Share And Sell What You Know To Others
If you’re one of the humans who wants to increase your income this year doing things you’re passionate about, then I suggest you simply begin to share and sell what you know to others.
Here are 3 ways you can do it:
- Teach others how to do any of the things you’re passionate about. Become a publisher that puts out educational content on your topics of interest. A media company that talks about a shared passion in an entertaining way. This can look tricky when you’re not an established leader in your field but that shouldn’t stop you from sharing knowledge you already possess.
- Share the process. The concept of sharing your process, transformation and journey can be a lot more powerful (and a lot more profitable) than just waiting so you can someday be able to reach your ultimate destination, produce a great piece of work or achieve the awesome goal you would be most proud to share with your audience. Most people don’t respond to that as much as they did before. Nowadays people seem to be more interested in being a part of the action, witnessing the progress rather than just seeing the end-result in your life.
- Help people achieve the results they want in their lives. All people care about is themselves, their lives, their problems. And I’m sure you don’t know as much as you would like to know about your topic of interest but that doesn’t really matter when it comes to helping others. People don’t mind dealing with a so-called “expert” but what matters most is how are you going to achieve the result they want. The beauty of (and what I learned about) consulting is that you only need to know more than your client does. As an added benefit it’s also a good way to look at the markets–if you can just identify people who have less knowledge than you and/or are struggling with issues you’ve already solved for yourself in a given field. You can offer them a solution to their problem … and if it really works … you’re going to make a whole lot of money.
